World Master Orchestra
A special international cultural exchange project launched by China Symphony Development Foundation since 2016, World Master Orchestra is composed by nearly 100 principals from first-class orchestras all around the world. Its premiere is under the baton of Christoph Eschenbach, which will be held both at Shanghai Symphony Hall on October 22nd, 2016 and Hangzhou Grand Theatre on October 23rd, 2016.

The aim is to create a platform for musicians all over the world to communicate with each other, study and exchange music skills. The form of such orchestra already has a long history in the United States and Europe, but is its first appearance in China. The establishment of Would Master Orchestra is to encourage the cultural exchange between Chinese and foreign countries, to promote further development of Chinese symphony and to increase the influence of Chinese classical music in the world.
